Yesterday was all about pranking friends and having some laughs on April Fools day. I received the usual 'Amazing New Product' emails from my techie contacts. It was good fun, but the one thing I didn't like about April Fool's Day this year was that I couldn't tell anyone about MY NEW STORE for fear of it sounding like a joke.
Yep, I opened an actual brick & mortar store in the Uptown Arts District in Phoenix and I'm pretty excited about it. So excited that I'm writing this post to let you know about it even though the store still needs a LOT of work.
The space is called the Artisan Food Guild and I'm one of a hand full of members who all own local food companies. The store is a place to showcase our products and provides a walk in retail store for small companies like mine. We will hold special events in the evenings and weekend too.
This weekend the sign goes up, and over the next several weeks we'll be adding more of our member's products, hanging some locally sourced art on the walls, and getting the displays dialed in.
We are open Monday ~ Friday from 9am to 4pm.
But I'll be there tomorrow night from 6 to 9pm for First Friday!!
Drop in. Say hello. Learn about the members. And... Grab a Nutsack!
